I like a challenge...

I grew up among the cornfields of the Midwest. As the son of a carpenter, I learned early that hard work was essential and not negotiable. My father taught me how important going the extra mile is, whether it was preparing for a concrete pour, measuring twice before cutting, or taking time to listen to a client before starting a kitchen remodel. He always said be willing to give a hand to others and to negotiate challenging situations with a steady hand on the tiller. Those words are what I build my foundation on today.

I moved to Portland a decade ago, drawn to the robust and ever-changing music scene, the unique neighborhoods full of venues and great food, and the incredible juxtaposition of the city to the mountains and the ocean. I was immediately drawn to the east side and have worked my way across, living in neighborhoods from Southeast to North Portland. I feel privileged to have gotten to know the neighborhoods and have enjoyed seeing their individuality architecturally. I have spent the last handful of years putting down roots in North Portland. Seeing this quadrant grow and develop has allowed me to witness a striking transformation.

I love the search! The journey on the way to helping clients discover what home means, whether I'm helping clients envision how to rework a space, or maximize a property as an investment is what I'm passionate about.

When I'm not exploring the city and surrounding countryside with buyers, you can find me hiking in the Columbia Gorge or saddling up the motorcycle for a sunset ride out to Sauvie Island.
